Automotive OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)

For northamerican automotive industry suppliers the OEM represents General Motors (GM), DaimlerChrysler (DCX), and Ford (F). For EMC testing purpose a joint document AEMCLRP (Automotive EMC Laboratory Recognition Program) was released to control the accreditation and correlation process.

The Japanes automakers Toyota and Honda EMC have their own EMC specifications and the accreditaion of test methods is also possible through A2LA.
