EMCLABINFO policies ensure that our third party customers have a high level of trust in our activities and staff integrity. These policies identifies the types of outside professional relationships in which our team members may engage, and provides disclosure and approval procedures to help avoid situations in which these relationships may cause conflicts of interest. This disclosure and approval process does not ban any particular relationship, but relies on the good judgment, as well as the cleansing effect of disclosure, to discourage improper relationships.
Activities with potential to create actual conflicts of interest, or raise the appearance of a conflict:
- Performing our services in the presence of unauthorized visitors. Only customer’s technical representative is allowed to assist to its product evaluation. OEM suppliers evaluated by customer as competition are not unauthorized to be present.
- Unauthorized visitor access to the storage area for third party customer's products, equipment, and documentation subjected to our services.
- Uncontrolled access to our test reports database and any other source of information that might compromise customer’s trust in our non disclosure rules and confidentiality policy.
If any public statements, endorsements or product-related commentary are expected as part of the outside relationship, they must be approved by customer in advance. Any unresolved question regarding a potential conflict should be discussed and resolved by EMCLABINFO. All professional relationships raising questions about conflict of interest will be disclosed, and where necessary, approved based on the nature of relationship, duration and scope of work.
Confidentiality and non disclosure rules:
EMCLABINFO staff does not reveal any technical information that is provided by our customers for testing purpose to any third parties, except when requested to do so by a governmental agency having jurisdiction, or by a court of competent jurisdiction or other operation of law. All information provided by customers is kept strictly confidential and secure to prevent unauthorized use.
Examples of proprietary and confidential information include, but are not limited to, any system, information or process that gives the Customer’s Company an opportunity to gain an advantage over its competitors; nonpublic information about the Customer’s strategies, business plans, forecasts, operations, and results; nonpublic information about customers and vendors; nonpublic information about the Customer’s systems, technology, products and services.
